As many of you will know Andrew Soxster isn’t my real name. It’s probably not even entirely my real personality – as in real life I’m a bit shyer and more reserved.  😉

However, last weekend I was walking back to my house at midnight with a 23 year old wearing a Tigger onesie (for reasons that aren’t relevant to this story). We walked past a group of young people who saw Tigger and waved. One girl yelled out:

“What’s the point of being Tigger if you’re not bouncing?”

To which I yelled back

“Don’t worry – he’ll be bouncing on me later”.

Cue laughter and appreciative whoops.

There are definitely moments when Andrew comes out to play where I’m not expecting him. 😉

And for the record, could a straight man have written the Tigger theme song?

Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They’re bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is
I’m the only one
